Jim Robinson is a 5X healthcare services company CEO / President. In 2022, Jim founded JimSights Consulting, LLC which provides retained healthcare leadership consulting and “CEO Whisperer” services to Private Equity firms and currently sits on five (5) Board of Directors.
Prior to starting JimSights, Jim was the CEO of CareFinders Total Care (CFTC) – one of the largest pure-play providers of in-home personal care services (PCS) based in the Northeast. Jim led CareFinders through COVID and expanded the Company to 30 offices across NJ, CT, and PA employing 7500+ Home Health Aides caring for 8600+ patients which almost doubled Company revenues and EBITDA in under three years and then completed a sale to ModivCare Inc. (Nasdaq: MODV).
Prior to CareFinders, Jim was recruited by Sentinel Capital Partners to lead one of their portfolio companies – National Spine and Pain Centers (NSPC) – the largest interventional pain management practices in the country. During Jim’s tenure, NSPC expanded to 70 Care Centers and ASC’s, 200+ Physicians and 900+ employees with significant revenue and EBITDA growth which resulted in a sale to Avista Capital Partners in 2017.
Prior to NSPC, Jim was an Executive at Amedisys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMED), one of the nation’s largest home health and hospice providers. Jim started his career as EVP, Hospice Operations. In 2011, Jim was promoted to EVP of all AMED Home Health and Hospice Operations – a $1B+ U.S. Field Operation spanning 550 Care Centers, 16,000 Employees caring for 400,000 patients/year. Then as Chief Development Officer, he worked with U.S. MCO’s and led AMED’s first Model 3 Value-Based Care (VBC) Bundle programs.
During his career, Jim refined his distributed healthcare services leadership skills to become very effective at leading de-centralized, nation-wide healthcare organizations to generate market share increases with tighter operational management controls resulting in strong EBITDA gains. He has learned that leading clinical-based Teams often means that it is important to focus on the “How” and the “Why” in order to accomplish the “What”.
Jim graduated from Connecticut College in 1982 with a BA and Academic Distinction in Dual Majors. He also received his MBA from Harvard University in 1988.
