Bill Treese
CEO/Founder
Bill Treese is the Founder and CEO of Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) and the driving force behind the company’s rapid growth into a national leader in behavioral health services for post-acute and senior care. Known for his urgency, entrepreneurial vision, and ability to turn complex healthcare challenges into scalable solutions, Bill has led BHS from just six contracted facilities in 2018 to a projected 400+ facilities by the end of 2026.
Under Bill’s leadership, BHS has grown far beyond a traditional behavioral health provider. The company has become a recognized industry resource for developing, implementing, and expanding behavioral health programs designed specifically for skilled nursing and senior living populations. Bill has played a pivotal role in building program capacity across multiple states, working at the intersection of clinical care, reimbursement, operations, and public policy to create sustainable models for serving some of healthcare’s most complex populations.
Bill has established particular expertise in behavioral health funding and enhanced reimbursement programs for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). He has helped develop and launch programs across multiple states, working closely with state agencies, provider associations, facility operators, policymakers, and clinical leaders to translate policy into operational programs that improve access to care while creating the infrastructure necessary for facilities to successfully serve residents with significant behavioral, psychiatric, and cognitive needs.
That ability to move from strategy to implementation has become a hallmark of Bill’s leadership. He brings a relentless focus on execution and growth, challenging BHS to identify unmet needs, build solutions quickly, and create the clinical and operational capacity necessary to deliver those solutions at scale.
Today, BHS provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health services, including psychiatric care, medication management, substance use disorder treatment, and psychotherapy. The organization supports individuals with behavioral, mental health, and cognitive challenges across skilled nursing, senior living, outpatient, residential, and select inpatient settings.
Bill’s healthcare career began in 2005, when he operated a clinical laboratory serving the post-acute sector throughout the western United States. He later held leadership positions with the nation’s largest mobile radiology and laboratory provider and worked with several rapidly growing healthcare technology companies serving the post-acute market. These experiences gave him a deep understanding of both the operational realities facing healthcare providers and the opportunities to build scalable services around their most difficult challenges.
Bill has also contributed to healthcare policy development in Nevada, including serving on Governor Joe Lombardo’s Healthcare Transition Team, where he helped inform healthcare priorities and initiatives.
A graduate of California Lutheran University with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Bill brings together entrepreneurship, healthcare operations, policy expertise, and program development experience. His leadership continues to shape BHS’s growth while advancing new approaches to caring for complex behavioral health populations across the country.
